AUDITION NOTICE Sunday July 13, 2008 6-8pmIt's About Time Theater announces auditions for the musical HOW TO TALK MINNESOTAN, directed by Dana Buchwald.About the showJoin the fun at The Lost Walleye Lodge up north at the lake, where proprietors Ed and Lucy Humde and friends put on language lessons for their guests. You'll have a ton of laughs learning the art of living and talking Minnesotan, even if you've lived in Minnesota all your life. The music is by Drew Jansen, with lyrics by Drew Jansen and Howard Mohr.
It's About Time Theater is a nonprofit, non-equity professional theater in Rochester MN whose mission is to inspire, showcase, educate and support women through theater.
Production Dates and Times: Sept. 26-Oct.26, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm; Sundays at 2:00pm
Rehearsals: Rehearsals will start sometime in August, depending on cast availability. Most rehearsals will be held in Rochester at the Chateau 14 Movie Theatres, Hy. 63 (Broadway) and N. 37th Street, but some music and dance rehearsals may be held at other Rochester locations.
Stipend: $200 for rehearsal period, plus $200 for the 15 total performances, plus $200 for gas/travel for those from the Twin Cities or similar distances. Housing will be arranged for out of town cast members as needed.
